Citroën is back with it's latest addition to their quirky "hot-hatch" range. This new model called the DS5 is aimed at a younger audience, but one that is able to spend big. Estimated prices range from £23,000 - £33,000; which is a lot for a car that is only marginally bigger than a Fiat 500. It has a very contempory interior, and Citroën have tried very hard to make this car appealing to the sporty younger generation.

Lots Of Leg And Headroom For Those Upfront

Many car manufacturers are now looking at partly electric powered vehicles as an alternative - Citroën propose to give you a 2.0 litre deisel engine which powers the front wheels, while a 40kw electric motor powers the rears. This system allows the car to run for a limited time on electric power only, or with both motors running at the same time.

Overall, I think that this car is fantastic. Buying the German alternative would be completely pointless because no other car around has this personality!
